Crimea — in the top of the best regions of Russia for the development of SMEs in agriculture

The positive dynamics of the development of the agricultural sector in Crimea indicates a favorable investment climate and the effective state support of small and medium -sized businesses in the region — The press service quotes Irina Kiviko.
In total, since the beginning of 2025, in Russia, the number of SMEs in agriculture increased by 4.5 thousand and reached 192 thousand. In 2023, their income amounted to about 4 trillion rubles, and according to the results of 2024, according to SMEs, it may exceed 4.7 trillion rubles.
In addition to Crimea, the TOP-10 of the regions included the Krasnodar Territory (13.7 thousand), the Rostov region (10 thousand), the Republic of Bashkortostan (6.7 thousand), Stavropol Territory (6.4 thousand), Volgograd region (5.2 thousand), the Republic of Dagestan (4.5 thousand), Saratov region (4.1 thousand), Altai region (4.1 thousand) and the Republic of Tatarstan (4.1 thousand).
As previously noted in the media, the Director General of the SME Corporation Alexander Isaevich, in these ten regions, every third agricultural is registered by an entrepreneur from the SME segment. Thus, 33% of the total agricultural business of the country in terms of SME falls on the listed regions.
