The signing of the agreement took place during the days of regional development of the Azov-Black Sea macroregion at the exhibition and forum “Russia” in Moscow.
The Republic of Crimea, Donetsk People’s Republic, Krasnodar Territory, Lugansk People’s Republic, Zaporozhye, Rostov and Kherson regions signed an Agreement on the development of effective and mutually beneficial cooperation to create favorable conditions for tourism development.
From the Republic of Crimea, the document was signed by the Deputy Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea Sergei Gulyuk. The signing took place during the days of regional development of the Azov-Black Sea macroregion at the exhibition and forum “Russia” in Moscow.
The agreement implies the creation of a tourist community of the Azov-Black Sea macroregion in the form of an interregional public association. The parties intend to interact to expand domestic and inbound tourism, develop cross-border cooperation, exchange information and experience in the field of tourism, assist in establishing business ties between organizations in the field of tourism, develop tourism infrastructure and improve the quality of tourism and related services.
Before signing, at the expert panel, participants discussed the creation of a single tourist route and the development of tourism infrastructure in the Azov-Black Sea cluster. The regions and the business community presented their vision for the concept of creating the Azov-Black Sea tourism cluster, projects and plans for the construction of year-round infrastructure for receiving tourists, and the development of various recreation areas.
Currently, the Republic of Crimea is included in a number of interregional projects, including the “Golden Ring of the Bosporan Kingdom”.
Crimea is ready to share its experience in the formation of tourism products, loyalty programs and the development of traditional year-round types of tourism for our region — health, cultural, historical, environmental and enogastronomic. Cooperation between the regions of the Azov-Black Sea cluster will create completely new tourism products and generate additional tourist flows, — said Deputy Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea Sergei Gulyuk.
