Crimea intends to create the country's first tourist and educational cluster
CrimeaPRESS reports:
A tourist and educational cluster «Tavrida.ART» will be created in Crimea. The agreement on this was signed 12 June, on the opening day of the new educational season of the Tavrida art cluster in Sudak. The agreement on the creation and development of the cluster was signed by the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, the Republic of Crimea, the city district of Sudak and the ANO Center for the Development of Cultural Initiatives. The key goal of the project is the development of tourism in the Republic of Crimea, in particular, in the city of Sudak, with an emphasis on youth, cultural events, historical and educational tourism. The implementation of the project begins with the development of a program for the integrated development of the cluster territory, primarily, recreational, tourist, educational and engineering infrastructure facilities. In parallel with this, research will be carried out in the field of tourism and creative industries, and joint educational programs will be created.
A new project — a tourist and educational cluster in Crimea — is designed to simultaneously solve a whole range of tasks: revealing the creative potential of the younger generation, its spiritual and moral development, the formation of a healthy lifestyle and recreation-recovery at the expense of resort and recreational resources , — said the head of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs Ksenia Razuvaeva. – In addition, the cluster will be a good case for involving the creative and intellectual potential of young people in the implementation of projects and programs for the development of the country. Our tourist cluster can become the first youth resort in the country, aimed at self-education, self-realization and high-quality recreation of the young generation.
Irina Kiviko, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea, noted that the Council of Ministers, within its competence, undertakes to provide informational, organizational and legal support in the development of the cluster, create conditions for effective interaction with the executive state authorities of the Republic of Crimea, as well as government organizations .
The signed agreement is important and symbolic for the republic. It is planned to develop joint educational programs in order to develop cultural, educational, event, historical and educational tourism in the Republic of Crimea, including in the city of Sudak, conduct joint research in the field of tourism and creative industries , – said Irina Kiviko.
The cluster will be a multifunctional complex, including: a modern center for youth creativity and education, which is already operating on the site of the Tavrida art cluster; educational center — the University of Creative Industries, which is scheduled to be launched in the spring 2023 of the year; sports and physical culture complex; health resort area. Hotels, campuses will be built, park areas and urban spaces will be formed, a promenade embankment with modern beaches will be landscaped. In addition, companies, corporations, educational organizations, investors will be attracted, whose activities will make it possible to fully realize the potential of the territories.
Tavrida has already become a driver for the development of the Sudak urban district, — says the head of the administration of Sudak Konstantin Podsevalov. – The formation of a tourist and educational cluster here will bring the entire urban district to a completely different level. And we are talking not only about new infrastructure facilities and the transformation of the territory. Caring for the environment, nature, tangible and intangible heritage of our region, as well as new jobs for local residents, new opportunities for young people that were previously inaccessible, prospects for business and farming. I am sure that the cluster will become an important and main stage in the transformation of our Sudak.
The flagship organization of the tourist and educational cluster will be the University of Creative Industries, which is part of the Tavrida art cluster. The university is currently in an active phase of construction and will start operating as an educational center in 2023 year. The general contractor for the construction of the University of Creative Industries is the Military Construction Company of the Russian Ministry of Defense. The facility is under the special control of the Ministry.
Cooperation between Tavrida, Rosmolodezh, the Government of the Republic of Crimea and the Administration of the city of Sudak has already become an incentive for the development of engineering and road infrastructure, improvement of beaches and the embankment.
The creation of a tourist and educational cluster is a completely logical, consistent step in the development of the territory, – Sergey Pershin, head of the Tavrida art cluster, is sure. – Four years, during which «Tavrida» is being developed in the Kapsel Bay in Sudak, have shown how powerful the potential of this place is. We see concrete, measurable results of work and feel that the dynamic pace of development makes us expand the boundaries and enter into larger projects. Therefore, today, by signing the agreement, we are taking a big step towards the fact that soon Sudak will become the place where all of Russia will come to study, relax and create.
12The creation of a cluster will make it possible to introduce organizational and technological innovations in the field of tourism and education to increase the investment attractiveness and socio-economic development of the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sudak.
