Crimea is a participant in the International Tourism Exhibition “Intourmarket-Baikal”

The Ministry of Resorts and Tourism traditionally takes part in all major specialized exhibitions in Russia. From October 10 to 12, a single stand of the Republic of Crimea at the International Tourism Exhibition «Intourmarket-Baikal» in Irkutsk presents the entire range of sanatorium-resort and tourist opportunities of the peninsula. The head of the delegation — Deputy Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea Sergei Gulyuk greeted the participants at the opening of the exhibition, inviting everyone to vacation in Crimea, and at its key event — a plenary meeting on topical issues of industry development. Experts discussed the prospects for the federal project “Five Seas and Lake Baikal” and outlined ways to resolve the issue of personnel shortages in the industry.

In addition, the Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea plans to sign a Cooperation Agreement with the Tourism Development Center of the Sverdlovsk Region, as well as get acquainted with the tourism potential of the Irkutsk region, meet with the regional head of the Tourism Agency, trade union organizations, tour operators, hoteliers, and industrial enterprises of the Irkutsk region.

The exhibition program will include round tables on auto tourism, rural, children’s and family tourism, legal issues, digitalization of excursion tourism, national routes, personnel, museum affairs, camping and much more.

Presentations will also be held at the Crimea stand. October 10 from 11:00-12:00 — “Tea drinking in Crimean style”: treating guests to tea from Crimean herbs “From Crimea with taste”, October 11 — 11:00-12:00 — gift drawing “From Crimea with love” . The stand participants themselves will make presentations of their objects on the main stage.

Two awards are also going to Baikal — “Tourist Souvenir” and Russian Event Awards. The event award will show the development of event tourism, unique festivals and events held by the regions.

The Republic of Crimea, among the 30 participating regions, is ready to meet with guests of the event, industry experts and subjects of the tourism industry in Russia and abroad.
