The Republic of Crimea ranks second among all constituent entities of the Russian Federation in terms of the number of identified owners of previously recorded real estate, as evidenced by the data of Rosreestr. This was announced by the chairman of the State Committee for State Registration and Cadastre of the Republic of Crimea Inna Smal. The Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea held a meeting chaired by Vice Prime Minister Anna Anyukhina on the implementation of the provisions of Federal Law No. 22-FZ. Recall that this document imposes on local governments the obligation to search for the owners of real estate objects. After a large-scale analysis of archival data, access to the area and sending requests to various departments, the municipality decides to identify the copyright holder and sends it to the State Register to enter this information into the Unified State Register of Real Estate (EGRN). During the year of the said procedure, the USRN was replenished with information about the owners 4883 of objects in the territory of Crimea.

Despite the fact that good dynamics in this work is obvious in the republic, there are also certain shortcomings. A number of municipalities show very low activity.
