Crimea is in the top budget popular destinations in the Russian Federation for holidays for the New Year

Crimea took second place after St. Petersburg in the ranking of the most popular budget destinations in Russia for New Year trips. The average bill for the New Year holidays is 37,500 rubles excluding transportation costs, the average duration of the trip is five days— quotes a specialist TASS.

According to the Ministry of Tourism, the level of hotel bookings in Crimea is 38% for the winter holidays, the most popular are high-quality sanatoriums and hotels with heated pools and spa centers. According to analytics from the Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of Crimea, the average cost of accommodation in mid-November is 5,508 rubles per double room per day. The cost of holidays during the off-season in the Republic of Crimea is on average 17% lower than in neighboring resort regions.
