Crimea is in the top of safe summer vacation destinations

CrimeaPRESS reports:

What do we expect from vacation? To be comfortable, interesting and… safe. In our difficult time, the last factor is especially important, because it is difficult to rest in tension. Therefore, we are often looking for a «safe haven» where we can not be afraid of any threats — political, climatic, social. Almost everyone has such a “reboot place” where you can recuperate after the bustle of the big city. And it is not surprising that all these places are different, because the characters of tourists differ from each other.

Russian vacation rental booking service TVIL.RU conducted a survey in social networks: which direction they think is the safest for a summer holiday. And now we are publishing a list of places under the sun that our subscribers have chosen — by popularity. And almost all of them are near the water, which is not surprising for a “safe haven”.

1. In the first place is Baikal, it was chosen by 24% of those who voted. Olkhon, Listvyanka, Angasolka — for a Baikal lover even the names of these settlements sound like music. And of course, almost everywhere on the Baikal coast there is calmness, silence and purity, so that the soul becomes free and light.

2. In second place is Altai, this is the choice of 22% of subscribers. The panorama of the Katun from the height of the cable car to the top of Malaya Sinyukha seems fabulous. The famous Chuysky tract is included in the list of UNESCO monuments. Yes, there is something to see in Altai. This is a very ancient and calm region, which gives serenity to its guests.

3. In third place is the region of the Caucasian Mineralnye Vody, which collected 20% of the vote. This region is famous not only for its beauty and ecological conditions, but also for its healing mineral springs. Whichever city you choose — Pyatigorsk, Kislovodsk or Essentuki, you will always have access to pump rooms with mineral water. Just be sure to check with your doctor before traveling.

4. 16% of voters voted for Crimea. Just think, despite all the bad news, Crimea is still considered calm by quite a lot of tourists. And given that due to logistical problems, many hoteliers have made discounts for guests, people are happy to travel to this amazing peninsula.

5. Karelia was chosen by 14% of subscribers. This amazing land can really be called safe — the quiet expanse of lakes, the silence of forests, rocks and seids … And, of course, fishing. And rest here has adherents who travel to Karelia regularly. Not forgetting safety precautions when resting in fairly wild places.

6. The same can be said about such a direction as the Murmansk region, which was chosen by 12% of all voters. Teriberka, Khibiny and other amazing places have their admirers. But still, walking in the wilds of the North, do not forget that, for example, bears can be found there.

7. Primorsky Krai received 10% of the vote. The places here are fantastic and amazing, those who wish can find sparsely populated villages, quiet beaches, spacious valleys and green hills. That’s just from Central Russia to go here, of course, far away.

8. The Volga region was chosen by 7% of those who voted. The old cities on the Volga soothe with their landscapes, tire with their hills, so that later one sleeps especially sweetly. But you can’t call them boring — in the vicinity of Samara, Saratov, Ulyanovsk and Syzran there is always something to see, where to go on an excursion.

9. Valdai collected 3% of the vote. Once upon a time, the Valdai Upland was considered a fairly quiet and calm region, where springs gush and lakes glow. Now it is a fairly well-known tourist destination — and you can still find a place where only you will be, a reflection of the sky — and silence.

10. The Kaliningrad region was rated by 2% of the voting participants. Of course, a large city and resort towns on the coast can hardly be called completely calm — and yet, if you go, for example, to the Curonian Spit, you can walk along the shore of the bay for a long time and not meet a single person.
