Crimea is ready to accept children from the Kursk and Belgorod regions on vacation, as well as from the historical regions of Russia

As Dmitry Chernyshenko emphasized, this direction is one of the priority in the national project “Youth and Children”. This year, more than 40.5 thousand camps throughout the country should be accepted by about 6 million schoolchildren.

As part of his report, Sergei Aksyonov said that the Republic of Crimea is ready to additionally accept children from the regions of Russia, most affected by the actions of the Kyiv regime.

We always support and provide all help to the subjects that are in a difficult situation today. Thus, an agreement with the Belgorod region is preserved — this summer we will provide a vacation and recovery at the expense of the republic of 300 Belgorod schoolchildren. We expand a similar proposal to the Lugansk and Donetsk people’s republics, Zaporizhzhya, Kursk and Kherson regions. They are ready to accept 300 children from each voiced subject at the expense of the republic. The organization of trips remains with the authorities of these regions. We ask our colleagues to send the relevant applications— said the head of the republic.

According to Sergei Aksyonov, the Crimea is a common readiness for the summer health campaign.

54 camps are included in the register of children’s recreation organizations and their recovery, of which 36 will not work in 2025. The second part of the camps will not work due to major repairs, reconstruction or by decision of the owners. In total, it is planned to improve 190 thousand children— reported the head of Crimea.

Sergei Aksyonov informed that by now the Crimean camps have concluded 51 contracts for recovery and rest of more than 23 thousand children from other subjects of Russia, there is an opportunity to accept an additional about 15 thousand children.

This year in the Crimea, the number of camps with daytime stay will be 345. At the same time, 11 thousand employees will fulfill their functional duties. Law enforcement agencies conducted the necessary briefings, until May 15, interdepartmental commissions will complete this work.

Sergei Aksyonov expressed gratitude to the chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matvienko, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko and the Russian government for constant assistance on all emerging issues.
