Crimea — part of the pilot project for the development of supporting settlements
Krympress reports:
Among the regions are also Arkhangelsk, Irkutsk, Kaliningrad, Kemerovo, Smolensk, Chelyabinsk regions, Bashkortostan, Stavropol and Khabarovsk Territory.
The development model covers four areas: housing, utilities and improvement, transport and roads, social facilities.
The task of ASI is in interaction with the federal authorities to develop approaches to determine the priority of the provision of federal support measures during the selection of projects and the ONP applying for financing— explained the deputy general director of Asi Olga Zakharova.
According to her, the developed model will be built into the national project “Infrastructure for Life” and will become a criterion for providing support to the regions.
The working group «City Economy» evaluated applications from 41 regions by six criteria. Three of them reflect the current level of socio-economic development, including a place in the quality of the quality of life, the level of budgetary security and the growth of GRP per capita. Three more concerned the variety of types of settlements to ensure the possibility of testing the model in different conditions.
Experts believe that such regions are best suited to check the applicability of different tools and evaluate the effects of the quality of the environment for life— said Tatyana Gorovaya, head of the City Economy working group, ASSI Expert Council.
Management teams from pilot regions will be trained and will receive support from ASI and Mentor’s regions. Particular attention is to small cities up to 250 thousand people. Experts emphasize that the implementation of the model should improve the quality of life and position of Russia in international ratings.
