Crimea Police: Suspicious Object in Transport – What to Do

What is considered a suspicious item?

• an unidentified object left unattended;
• an object with wires, a clock or other suspicious parts;
• a bag, package, or box that feels too heavy for its size;
• the smell of fuel or other hazardous substances.

Algorithm of actions in case of a security threat:

1. Report the find to the bus driver or conductor.

2. Do not touch the object! Do not try to move it, open it or examine it.

3. Leave the place where the object was found. If possible, get as many people away from it as possible. Notify the police and describe the situation.
