Crimea police warns: scammers call messengers and are submitted to law enforcement officers
Krympress reports:
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Crimea recalls that law enforcement officers never call citizens through Messengens “VotsAP” and “Telegram”.
The main signs that will help you recognize scammers:
- They often warn that no one should know about this conversation, including the closest. Threaten to be held accountable for violation of the non -disclosure law, in connection with the secret investigation.
- Law enforcement officers never ask you personal and financial data, including the question of which bank you use.
- Fraudsters are trying to speak, intimidate and ask not to put the phone, thereby giving you the opportunity to comprehend what is happening and look at the situation from the outside.
Crimea police warns! Do not enter into a dialogue with unknown by means of instant messengers. Place the phone!
Never announce by the phone to unknown personal information or bank cards data, including SMS messages. Remember that bank employees, law enforcement officers, representatives of the public services portal and mobile operators will never be interested in your savings and banking cards, will never offer finances to “reserve” or “safe” accounts.
