The republic also took 4th place in the ranking in the areas of the national rating of the state of the investment climate in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation in 2023 in the direction of «Institutions for business».

We managed to keep the leading positions in the ranking. This means that the efforts and policies that are being built to ensure and interact with investors have been built systematically. Work in this direction will be continued, I am sure that it will be marked accordingly next year.— quotes the press service of the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea — Minister of Finance of the Republic of Crimea Irina Kiviko.

The Deputy Prime Minister also summed up the main results of the work of the Crimean delegation at the forum.

The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) demonstrated the increased interest of investors in the opportunities of Crimea, evidence of this is the record amount of announced investments that they intend to invest in the development of the republic, as well as the meetings and negotiations held. In the coming months, at the meetings of the Investment Council, it is planned to consider those projects that investors presented at the forum and concluded memorandums, and conclude agreements— Irina Kiviko notes.

Reference. The National Rating is a joint project of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives and four business associations (the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Delovaya Rossiya and Opora Rossii). The National Investment Climate Rating evaluates the efforts of regional authorities to create a favorable business environment and identifies best practices, and its results stimulate competition for investment at the regional level.
