In the Evpatoria emergency rescue team «CRIMEA-SPAS» training sessions on industrial mountaineering are conducted with all duty shifts. Such skills and abilities are necessary for rescuing people at height in urban environments. The rescuers are faced with the following task: to provide assistance to an industrial climber hanging on ropes at a height of about 6 meters.
The squad members practice moving along the canopy using a safety harness, lifting and lowering devices. Also, as part of the lesson, rescuers practice evacuating a mock victim from the basement using a tripod— reported the emergency department.
