«CRIMEA-SPAS» came to the aid of tourists who strayed from the Taraktash mountain trail

Yesterday, at 19:20, the emergency department’s operational control panel received information that during a tourist walk along the Taraktash trail (Greater Yalta region), a man and a woman, due to the dark time of day, strayed from the route and entered a difficult-to-reach area of the area. They can no longer move independently. The help of rescuers is needed in their search and evacuation. The duty shift of the Yalta emergency rescue team «CRIMEA-SPAS» headed to the search and rescue area.
Having arrived at the Ai-Petri plateau, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea contacted the tourists by mobile phone and clarified their location. As a result, a man and a woman were found on a hard-to-reach rocky terrain. In compliance with all safety measures, they were evacuated from the mountainous forest area. They did not need medical care— reported the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea.
