Yesterday at 14:30, the emergency department’s operational control panel received a message that a man had injured his leg on the plateau of the cave city of Mangup-Kale (Bakhchisaray district). He cannot move on his own; he needs help from rescuers to evacuate him from the mountainous and forested area. The duty shift of the Bakhchisarai emergency rescue team «CRIMEA-SPAS» headed to the scene of the incident.
Rescuers first contacted the victim by mobile phone and clarified his location. Upon arrival, emergency department employees quickly found a man in the upper part of the Gamam-Dere gorge. They gave him first aid by splinting his injured limb. Next, rescuers on a stretcher evacuated the man from the mountainous forest area along a difficult mountain path within half an hour.— said the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea.
Already in the village of Khoja-Sala, the victim was handed over to emergency medical personnel.
