«CRIMEA-SPAS» evacuated a tourist from a difficult section of the Cold Couloir gorge

The day before, at 16:50, the emergency department’s operational control panel received a message that a man, while climbing Mount Angar-Burun (near Alushta), had lost his way from the path and entered a difficult area of terrain. He cannot continue moving on his own. The help of rescuers is required in his search and evacuation.
Rescuers first contacted the man by mobile phone, found out his approximate location and gave recommendations on how to take precautions. The duty shift of the Alushta emergency rescue team of the State Institution of the Republic of Crimea «CRIMEA-SPAS» went to the area of search and rescue operations.— reported the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea.
Upon arrival, employees of the emergency department set out on foot to search from the “Beech Glade” tourist site towards the top of Hangar-Burun. As a result, voice contact was established with the tourist, after which he was found on a difficult section of the slope of the Cold Couloir gorge. The man did not need medical attention. In compliance with all safety measures, rescuers evacuated him from the mountainous and forested area to the Alushta-Simferopol highway.
