«CRIMEA-SPAS» evacuated two tourists from the southern coastal mountain Paragilmen

The first rescue operation of the New Year.
On January 1, at 17:25, the operator on duty received a signal that two people, moving along the climbing route 1-B on Mount Paragilmen (in the Alushta region), were exhausted and could not continue further movement on their own. The duty personnel of the Alushta emergency rescue team «CRIMEA-SPAS» were sent to the scene of the incident.
Upon arrival at the foot of Mount Paragilmen, rescuers began climbing the plateau on foot. As a result, two men were found an hour later. No one needed medical care. Employees of the State Institution of the Republic of Crimea “CRIMEA-SPAS”, using alpine equipment, went down to them and evacuated them to a safe area, after which they were escorted to their personal car. No further rescue assistance was required— reported the emergency department.
