In order to ensure the safety of places of public recreation and prevent accidents in mountainous and forest areas on New Year’s holidays, employees of the State Institution of the Republic of Crimea «CRIMEA-SPAS», together with members of the Regional Branch of LLC «ROSSOYUZSPAS», monitor public places of public recreation, tourist trails and parking lots.
Thus, employees of the Simferopol emergency rescue team «CRIMEA-SPAS» patrol the mountainous and forested area along the route: «Simferopol — Salgir River Valley — Lower plateau of the Chatyr-Dag mountain — Angarsk pass — Kurlyuk-Bash tract — Kizil-Koba tract — Simferopol «
During patrols, preventive conversations are held with people on compliance with safety rules while staying in the mountain-forest zone and safety rules when moving on routes. Emergency phone numbers are also provided and reminders are given. Contact phone numbers of the rescue service are posted on information stands and signs in places of public recreation.— said the emergency department.
According to the Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea Sergei Sadakliev, the personnel involved in patrolling the mountain-forest zone and water area are provided with all-terrain vehicles, as well as radio stations, entrenching tools, climbing equipment, and water rescue equipment. A reserve of forces and resources is provided in case of emergency response.
