CrimeaPRESS reports:
The next training session “CRIMEA-SPAS” was held at the Staroselye climbing wall in Bakhchisarai. The training program included working with climbing equipment, organizing a belay station, belaying and self-belaying.
5 rescuers from the Bakhchisarai emergency rescue team “CRIMEA-SPAS” practiced the technique of extending a rope while lowering a mock victim along a steep rocky terrain. The descent was carried out from a height of 15 meters.
Using the rope extension technique requires professional training and experience to ensure the safety of both the rescuers and those they rescue. To this end, “CRIMEA-SPAS” employees practice the necessary skills and abilities. As the rescuers of the Bakhchisarai ASO noted, they have already used this technique more than once when it was necessary to evacuate people from great heights in difficult rocky terrainnoted the emergency department.
During the training, special attention was paid to compliance with safety rules during rescue operations and interaction between rescuers.
