“CRIMEA-SPAS” training: practicing skills in providing assistance to victims on water bodies

Improving the skills of providing assistance to victims on water bodies is one of the main topics of the next CRIMEA-SPAS training. The practical lesson took place at the Egiz-Oba reservoir, in the Bakhchisarai region.
During the training, employees of the emergency department practiced various methods of providing assistance to simulated victims on the water using the Alexandrov end and a life preserver. The rescuers also studied various tactics for supplying individual life-saving equipment from the shore and from the boat.— reported the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea.
The rescuers practiced techniques for using a wetsuit: putting it on, correctly getting out of the watercraft, and getting out of the water.
Another topic of the educational and practical lesson “CRIMEA-SPAS” is practicing the skills of moving on a watercraft, in particular the rules of movement in the water area, maneuvering and navigation.
