On Saturday evening, the emergency department’s operational control panel received a message that two mushroom pickers had gotten lost in the area of the highway between Solnechnogorsk and Generalskoe (Alushta). Returning in the dark, they lost their way. The help of rescuers is needed in their search and evacuation from the mountainous forest area.
At the signal, the duty shift of the Alushta emergency rescue team “CRIMEA-SPAS” left. Arriving at the search area on Mount Sykhtai, Orta-Khyr ridge, rescuers established light contact with mushroom pickers and found the victims 15 minutes later. Rescuers took them to their personal vehicle in a service vehicle.— reported the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea.
In addition, at the same time, the control panel of the operational duty officer of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received information that a man and a woman who had gone to pick mushrooms in the area of the village of Marfovka, Leninsky district, also got lost. The help of rescuers is needed in their search and evacuation.
The duty shift of the Lenin emergency rescue team «CRIMEA-SPAS» left for the search area. Mushroom pickers were found in the area of the Kotlovina tract and taken to Marfovka. They did not need medical care.
