Several major investment projects in the tourism sector are being implemented in Crimea. The Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea Vadim Volchenko spoke about this. According to him, the growing investment in the tourism industry shows the sustainable development of tourism in the Republic and the country.
Several major investment projects are being implemented in Crimea — these are 4-5 star hotel complexes with 1.5-2.5 thousand rooms. And these are industry-specific investors whom we assist in every possible way. Crimea has a high investment attractiveness in the sanatorium-resort and tourism sectors, since federal programs have already created ready-made investment sites in terms of engineering infrastructure. Every investor in the republic receives maximum assistance, Vadim Volchenko said.
He emphasized that the current level of interaction with the federal center and between regions provides a unique opportunity for the promising sustainable development of domestic tourism.
The minister recalled that the summer season showed mutual assistance and mutual assistance of the regions for those tourists who traveled to Crimea by car. Many hotels in the Rostov and Voronezh regions gave discounts, offered various promotions, booked holidays on preferential terms, and Crimean hotels accommodated guests on their way to Crimea at their own expense.
