Crimea sums up the first competition of student initiative budgeting projects

Summing up the contest-2025 took place as part of a meeting of the competitive commission, the work of which was headed by the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers-Minister of Finance of Crimea Irina Kiviko.

As the Deputy Prime Minister said, the competition “Student Initiative of Crimea” was launched in May of this year in order to form a civil competence and active life position of students by organizing their participation in determining the priorities of budgetary funds aimed at eventful and professional activities.

Students of professional educational organizations and educational organizations of higher education of the Republic of Crimea took part in the competition.

In fact, 36 Crimean educational institutions tried their forces in the competition, among which there were 1 university (we are talking about the Crimean engineering and pedagogical university named after Fevzi Yakubov), 29 republican institutions of secondary vocational education (we are talking about colleges and technical schools) and 6 of their structural units and branches. This is about 88% of the total number of possible participants, which, in my opinion, is very cool for the first time— emphasizes Irina Kiviko.

She clarified that 44 out of 45 applications received were made for competitive selection, which became winners under the terms of the competition. The total amount of funds for the implementation of winning projects from the budget of the republic amounted to more than 20 million rubles.

The competition was held in two stages: at the first stage — the reception of projects of the competition participants, at the second stage — expert groups assessed the public protection of initiative projects. The stage of the stage suggested a ball estimate, the amount of which formed the general rating of projects to determine the winners.

According to the results of the general rating, with a 100 point of the assessment system, the bulk of the projects (80%, or 35 works) scored from 60 to 80 points. For 6 projects that scored below 60 points, insufficient level of training is noted.

The highest score, and this is 86.9, in the competition received the project of the Kerch Medical College named after G.K. Petrova. In addition to him, only 3 projects, which are generally estimated above 80 points— commented on Irina Kiviko.

This year, students preferred the following areas of projects focused on event and professionally-controlled events:

organization of student spaces — 14 projects; in the field of media — 10 projects; in the field of education and in the field of physical culture — 7 projects; in the field of tourism — 3 projects; in the field of culture — 2 projects; In the field of technological startups — 1 project.
