Crimea, the project «Victory in the Persons» — veteran of the Great Patriotic War Anatoly Botyan

The head of the Republic of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, spoke about the veteran of the Great Patriotic War Anatolia Yakovlevich Botyans in the new material of the cycle of publications “Victory in the Persons”.
Anatoly Yakovlevich was born on March 28, 1928 in the Belarusian SSR. Before the war, he managed to graduate from four elementary school classes.
During the German occupation, his family was in the partisan detachment named after P.K. Ponomarenko. At 14, Anatoly became an ordinary intelligence fighter. He fought in a subversive sabotage group under the leadership of the Hero of the Soviet Union Konstantin Sergeyevich Zaslonov.
In 1944, the young partisan was injured. For his exploits, he was awarded, among other things, the Order of the Patriotic War of the II degree.
In the post -war years, Anatoly Yakovlevich graduated from electric welders. He worked at many enterprises of the construction industry, including shales, Biysk and Balti, took part in the construction of the Simferopol GRES. For numerous merits, he was awarded the medal «Veteran of Labor».
Sergei Aksyonov expressed appreciation to Anatoly Botyan and all the defenders of the Fatherland: “Thanks to our veterans for their immortal feat, for defending our country in bloody battles and worked selflessly for the benefit of their homeland.”
