Crimea twice became a silver medalist in the competition for projects to present a budget for citizens

CrimeaPRESS reports:

Crimea twice became the silver medalist of the All-Russian competition of projects for presenting a budget for citizens 2023. This was announced by the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers — Minister of Finance of the Republic of Crimea Irina Kiviko.

We are very proud that among children Anna Gorelova, 10 years old, from Yalta received silver in the category “Budget for citizens in modern forms of art”, presenting a fascinating coloring book for babies. We have a wonderful younger generation, whose representatives have already repeatedly won at the All-Russian level. Among legal entities, the Ministry of Finance of Crimea received silver, presenting the educational project “Booklet “Budget for citizens of the Republic of Crimea. On the budget of the Republic of Crimea for 2023 and for the planning period 2024 and 2025″ in the nomination «Modern forms of presenting a draft regional budget for citizens», only 11 out of 89 financial bodies of the constituent entities of the federation took part in the competition– said Irina Kiviko.

The award ceremony for the winners with the participation of Deputy Minister of Finance Alexei Lavrov took place in Moscow at the International Exhibition and Forum “Russia”.

In 2023, the competition commission reviewed 425 projects from citizens and legal entities. Also, for the first time, a separate list of children’s nominations for the competition (under 15 years old) was approved. Children submitted 44 projects for the competition. In total, 63 competitive projects were awarded diplomas of winners and prize-winners in 18 nominations of the competition.

Out of 425 projects submitted to the competition, 2 were from Crimea, and both became prize-winners! Out of 63 winners within the country, one silver among legal entities and one silver among 44 children who presented projects is an excellent result, which we have been systematically and persistently working towards for several years. Crimea has potential, and we have definitely found creative approaches to solving the problems of the competition and, without stopping there, we will constantly continue to improve the level of budget and financial literacy in the republic,” summed up Irina Kiviko.
