Crimea wants to apply to the Government to take measures to reduce the cost of fuel in the region

The head of the Republic of Crimea said that Crimea plans to apply to the Government of the Russian Federation on the issue of taking compensatory measures to reduce the cost of fuel. At the same time, Sergey Aksyonov noted that work is already underway in the Republic of Crimea to reduce the cost of gasoline and diesel fuel.

To date, fuel prices in the republic are higher by about 2.5 rubles per liter compared to the mainland. Republican authorities are working on a tool similar to the purchase of natural gas, which will allow you to purchase gasoline and diesel not on the exchange, but directly. The measures are temporary, but they will reduce prices by an average of 1.5 rubles in the short term. At the same time, suppliers will not change, that is, the proposed scheme will not affect the quality of the product.— notes the Head of the Crimea.

Sergei Aksyonov also assured that fuel shortages do not threaten Crimea even in the event of logistical changes — there are alternative technical possibilities for supplies.
