Crimea was presented at the International Tourism Exhibition in Moscow

The delegation of the tourist community, which included representatives of the administrations of Simferopol, Evpatoria, Kerch, spa associations, tour operators, managers and transport companies, accommodation facilities, industry associations, large agricultural agencies, headed the Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Hanziya. Thanks to his active work, dozens of meetings were held, three cooperation agreements were signed: with the Republic of Chuvashia, the Karachay-Cherkess Republic, the Geographical Department of Moscow State University named after Lomonosov. The minister also took part in the grand opening of the exhibition and two conferences for medical and health tourism, where he presented the professional Russian and international community of the sanatorium-resort potential of the republic.

Representatives of the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Crimea and the participating companies consulted guests of the stand, answered questions from tourists about new tourist products, treatment in boarding houses and sanatoriums, the presence of hotels of different levels of accommodation, a variety of excursions in the region and various options for the formation of individual tours, offered tourist cards, booklets in various areas of rest, trials of Crimea and Crimea and Crimean References for sanatorium-resort treatment and healing. Tastations of tea from mountain herbs, Crimean sweets were carried out, virtual excursions in the Crimea were made in VR glasses, prizes and gifts.

As all participants in the Crimean delegation noted, such image on-site events are extremely necessary to promote the sanatorium and tourist potential of Crimea on the eve of the high resort season. Also, the participants in the delegation expressed gratitude for the opportunity to be presented at the MITT exhibition and the coordinated work of the Crimean stand.

Representatives of the UPRO Group management company and the travel agencies of Ganesha Trevel Group noted a high organization of the exhibition, a competently invited target audience, an abundance of contacts in & c.

So, according to the representative of the tour operator “Sevil”, negotiations were held with travel agencies and representatives of the administration of the Ivanovo, Smolensk, Tula, Rostov, Suzdal regions, republics of Belarus and Tatarstan. Agreements were reached on the admission of groups of tourists from their regions in Crimea.

The tour operator “Ryukzak Travel” in three days held dozens of meetings with current and new partners, entered into agreements with new agents and received the first reservations from them. The Crimea advertising tour presented by the tour operator enjoyed greater attention among agents from different regions.

Representatives of the company «Explam» held meetings with managers and representatives of specialized institutions-organizers of collective stands from various regions of Russia. Many companies representing integrated services for hotels and their promotion, as well as ministries, departments and tourist information centers, for example, the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Penza, Rostov, Volgograd and Ryazan regions showed interest and the desire to interact with the Crimea, including taking part in the upcoming exhibition in Yalta Tourism -Spop -Correction.

As noted in the sanatorium and resort association “Center for Improvement and Rehabilitation”, Crimea is a unique therapeutic land that will be glad to receive guests from all over the country. One of the key tasks facing the Crimean delegation of resortologists led by the ministry at the exhibition was an increase in the level of conscious choice of sanatorium-resort treatment. The center sought to introduce potential patients with unique natural factors of the peninsula, various treatment profiles and the possibilities of year -round healing.

Representatives of the More SPA & Resort Hotel for three days of work at the exhibition received more than 100 new contacts interested in cooperation with the hotel. We concluded more than 10 contracts with new travel agencies and tour operators who send tourists to the Republic of Crimea from Moscow, Yekaterinburg, St. Petersburg, Krasnodar, Yaroslavl, Ryazan, Belgorod and Rostov-on-Don.

The Vizant management company managed to hold more than 10 working meetings with existing partners, strengthen cooperation, discuss the improvement of existing projects, and get acquainted with new partners. Agreements with more than 20 companies with the prospect of cooperation and real cases in the hotel direction in all facilities of the company, as well as in the development of the museum space of the Dulber Palace, have been reached.

Representatives of the Poltava-Crimea clinical sanatorium noted that for three days of the exhibition about a thousand guests turned to the sanatorium, the more than 30 managed to establish contractual relations, the contacts were collected, the tickets were booking, commercial proposals for new equipment were received, and the same reinforcements with the reservation and control systems of the Traveline, Bronevik hotels, Bronevik. As the representative of the Luciano Wellness & Spa Foros 5* Hotel noted the exhibition provided the participants with a wide target audience and felt great interest in the Crimea, both from travel agents, tour operators, and from ordinary guests.

Member of the Crimean delegation — Crimean Federal University named after V.I. Vernadsky — concluded three agreements on the accession to the “preventive, personified medicine, healthy longevity” with large federal venues — the National Resort Association (NAC), the Health of Healthy Association and the Association for the Promotion of Physical Culture and Sports “Sports Medicine”. The expansion of the consortium will allow scientific research, introduce high-tech methods of healing, active longevity, spa treatment and medical rehabilitation in the Republic of Crimea and in other organizations of the sanatorium-resort cluster.

Also Na Chino-Clinical Center «Technology of Health and Rehabilitation» KFU named after V.I. Vernadsky presented the innovation of medical tourism at the exhibition. The participation of the Center has become part of the strategy for promoting Crimea as a leading direction for healing and rehabilitation, which was announced by Sergey Gansiy as part of the exhibition’s business program. Among the key projects presented by the University, there are digital services and rehabilitation technologies. Such developments correspond to the concept of the development of medical tourism, making the region competitive against the backdrop of other MITT member countries. In addition, the center was demonstrated by the scientific and educational bases. Participation in MITT for the Center became possible thanks to the university of the state program of strategic academic leadership “Priority 2030” with the strategic project “Medicine and Sanatorium-Resort Rehabilitation”.

It is also worth noting that the representative of the Kerch administration met with representatives of the Smolensk city administration. Substima cities have agreed on the further development of the tourism industry in heroic cities, the exchange of experience in attracting transit tourists to the cities, and to conduct events for the 80th anniversary of the Victory Day, as well as the provision of mutual information support.
