Crimea will take part in the All-Russian educational relay race “My Finances”

The fact that Crimea will take part in a new project of the Russian Ministry of Finance — the All-Russian educational relay race “My Finances” was announced by Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea — Minister of Finance of the Republic of Crimea Irina Kiviko.

The Deputy Prime Minister said that from 2024, as part of the implementation of the Strategy for Improving Financial Literacy and Forming a Financial Culture in the Russian Federation until 2030, thematic “All-Russian Educational Relay Races “My Finances” were planned on an annual basis.

The key objective of the new project is to popularize the topics of financial literacy and make them even more accessible, regardless of where a person lives — in a big city or a remote town. It is symbolic that first stage of the relay will last until the end of June. The theme of this stage corresponds to the “Year of the Family” taking place in 2024 and is dedicated to the competent management of the family budget. During the Relay, federal and regional experts will teach participants to set joint goals that take into account the needs of each family member, and explain how to avoid disagreements and not quarrel over money in the family,” the press service quotes Irina Kiviko.

She also clarified that the second stage will begin in July and will be devoted to financial education and the topic of first money. The third will take place in November and will address issues of responsible lending.
