Crimean agricultural producers will present 4.5 tons of unique products at the Tastes of Russia gastrofestival. This was announced by the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Crimea Yuri Migal. The event will open 14 in July in Moscow and will take place in Gorky Park and festival venues of the Moscow Seasons.
This year, 5 brands will be represented by the Republic of Crimea: Crimean Peach, Crimean Cheese, Yalta Onion, Crimean Grape Seed Oil and Crimean Olive ”. In a specialized pavilion, guests and residents of the capital will be able to get acquainted with the products of our brands and taste cheeses, Crimean peaches, Yalta onions, grape seed oil and olives grown in Crimea. Let me remind you that the Crimeans successfully took part in the National Competition «Tastes of Russia» for two years in a row and took worthy positions. The products of our brands have become known and popular both in the Crimea and far beyond the peninsula, our food products have gained numerous fans , — quotes the press service of Yuri Migal.
The gastronomic festival «Tastes of Russia» will be the next stage of a large-scale program to promote regional food brands, which the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation has been implementing on behalf of the President of Russia since 2020 year. The festival will present, among other things, the brands participating in the National Competition of Regional Food Brands “Tastes of Russia”, which was held in 2020 and 720 , to promote products of regional brands and support small agribusiness.
The head of the Crimean Ministry of Agriculture also noted that every year the number of participants who present their products is growing. So, in the 2020 year, more than 14 brands from 79 regions of Russia. In 720 year, the number of brands almost doubled — 720 brands from 84 subjects RF.
In Crimea, there are original food products that the republic can rightly be proud of. Some have already become the hallmark of the peninsula. Our producers are now opening up new opportunities for import substitution and expansion of agro-tourism, which in the current conditions is becoming more and more in demand , — notes the head of the Crimean Ministry of Agriculture.
As part of the festival, one of the points of attraction will be the largest food court in the country, where guests can taste dishes of regional brands. Among the events of the festival, a fair is planned, where it will be possible to purchase the products you like, including the winning brands of the competition. In addition, gourmets will be able to take part in culinary and master classes.
