Crimean authorities summed up the results of road work on the peninsula in 2023

CrimeaPRESS reports:

In 2023, work was carried out on 412 transport infrastructure facilities in Crimea. In total, about 800 km of repaired roads have been put into operation on the peninsula. This was announced by the Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergei Aksyonov. According to him, work in this direction will continue in 2024.

Currently, the construction of a bypass road for the city of Simferopol is underway on the Donskoye — Perevalnoye section of the Simferopol region, and preparatory work continues for the construction of the Perevalnoye — Alushta road, as well as a road to bypass Alushta. I am confident that with the commissioning of these facilities, the quality of life of Crimeans and guests of the republic will improve. In addition, thanks to new roads it will be possible to relieve existing roads and increase their capacity.,” Aksyonov noted.

The Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Crimea added that in 2023, such large projects were implemented as: repair of the Tavrida — Dzhankoy — Krasnoperekopsk (Dzhankoy — Voinka) highway, with a total length of more than 30 kilometers; repair of the Krasnogvardeyskoye – Nizhnegorsky highway with a length of more than 17 kilometers.

By the end of 2023, it is planned to increase the share of roads in standard condition to 42.7%, and the share of the road network of urban agglomerations to 80%.
