Crimean budget spending is tens of billions of rubles

Crimean budget expenditures increased by more than 9 billion rubles, reaching 155.5 billion rubles. As Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea — Minister of Finance of the Republic of Crimea Irina Kiviko said, according to the reporting data, as of the beginning of August, the Crimean budget was executed with a surplus of 7.5 billion rubles. with revenues of 163 billion rubles. (65.1% of annual appointments, by 15.1 billion rubles, or 10.2% more than in 2022), execution of expenses amounted to 51.6% of appointments for the year. The Republic’s own (tax and non-tax) revenues, having reached the level of 54.4 billion rubles, increased by 3.8 billion rubles, or 7.5%, compared to the same indicator of the previous year.
Most of the expenses, which is 82.5 billion rubles. (53.1% of the total amount of execution) is aimed at financing sectors of the socio-cultural sphere— noted in the press service of the Government of Crimea.
Compared to the same period last year, expenditures for these purposes increased by a quarter, or by 16.5 billion rubles. (annual appointments completed by 59.6%), including:
- growth in spending on social policy amounted to 15.7 billion rubles, or 1.7 times (36.8 billion rubles, or 64.7% of annual appointments were collected);
- for education — by 1 billion rubles. (almost 27 billion rubles, 54.5%, respectively);
- for health care — at the level of the previous year (12.9 billion rubles, 59.6%);
- for culture and cinematography — by 28.6 million rubles. (3.9 billion rubles, 56.5%);
- for physical culture and the media — by 39.7 million rubles. (2 billion rubles, 52%)
Also, a significant part of the costs is directed to:
- the national economy of the republic (development of industries): 49.5 billion rubles, or 51% of annual appointments, were received, the share in total expenditures was almost 32%;
- housing and communal services: 16.4 billion rubles were received, or a third of annual appointments, the share in total expenditures was 10.5%;
- for the implementation of general government spending: 4.9 billion rubles were received, or 49.2% of annual appointments with an increase by 87.7 million rubles compared to the previous year;
- for national security and law enforcement, national defense: 1.9 billion rubles, or 51.6% of annual appointments were received with an increase by 1.1 billion rubles, or 2.3 times, compared to the 2022 indicator.
The local budgets of the regions of the republic received 25.3 billion rubles, or 55.7% of annual appointments with an increase of 1.6 billion rubles, or 6.8% compared to last year, including subventions — almost 18 billion rubles. (63.1% of annual appointments), subsidies — 6.3 billion rubles. (43.7%), subsidies — 803.5 million rubles. (36.7%), other intergovernmental transfers — 190.2 million rubles. (69.4%).
