Crimean Children's Hospice has created a website for parents of seriously ill children. What is the point

On the site proroditeley.rf you can book an individual consultation with a psychologist or social worker. It contains materials on social and legal assistance, family psychology, communication with a seriously ill child, training video courses on caring for a child with a tracheostomy and gastrostomy, broadcasts with specialists that took place as part of the PRO Parents project.
The site is easy to use and is designed specifically for parents and close relatives of seriously ill children. We plan to replenish it with new materials, based on the requests of parents and the recommendations of specialists, — said Elena Babakova, coordinator of the «PROparents» project of the Crimean Children’s Hospice.
The presentation of the website of parents.rf will take place at the press conference “Study and relax: a project that helps parents of seriously ill patients
Children”, which the Crimean Children’s Hospice will hold online on August 25 at 12.00 in its Telegram channel.
The press conference will be attended by Anna Ryzhkova, Executive Director of the Crimean Children’s Hospice, Olga Meshcheryakova, Head of the Department of Palliative Care for Children of the Republican Children’s Clinical Hospital of the Republic of Crimea, Elena Babakova, coordinator of the PROPARENTS project of the Crimean Children’s Hospice, and Viktor Zhilenko, founder of the Bakhchisarai and Evpatoria miniature parks and the Alushta Aquarium .
100 families from different regions of Russia participate in the PRO Parents project. 79 consultations of a psychologist, 21 consultations of a social worker, online lectures on the use and care of a tracheostomy and gastrostomy, positioning and habilitation of a seriously ill child from a physiotherapist and occupational therapist have already been held.
In addition to the educational part, the project includes a leisure part: four field trips to the Bakhchisaray and Evpatoria miniature parks were organized for families. Planned trips to the Alushta Aquarium and the Gallery of Illusions.
The PRO Parents project is implemented with the support of the Presidential Grants Fund.
Crimean Children’s Hospice has been helping children who cannot be cured since 2019. There are 58 children under the care of the charitable organization, 5 of them are on ventilators, 1 child is on NIV.
In addition to the PROparents project, the hospice implements the projects Instead of Mom, Dobronyanya, Field Service, develops human resources and a comprehensive system of palliative care for children in the Republic of Crimea, and also plans to build the country’s first children’s hospice by the sea.
