Crimean Children's Hospice: Medicines for Usein
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Baby Usain spent the first months of his life in the hospital on a ventilator. An emergency caesarean section and asphyxia during childbirth led to disappointing diagnoses — ischemia, convulsions, tetraparesis. In February, the Crimean Children’s Hospice, thanks to caring Crimeans, managed to raise money and pay for the installation kit and gastrostomy for the baby. Usain underwent surgery and now he lives at home and is gaining weight steadily.
All this time we are trying to find a treatment for Usen. He suffers from endless epileptic seizures. He even twitches when he sleeps. But I believe that we will find the right medicine and the son will live without pain. Usain is seven months old and we still have not received any assistance from the State. All the documents have been handed over, but the medicines prescribed for his son due to disability have never been received. Tubes for tracheo and gastrostomy, specialized nutrition Usein needs monthly— Afize’s mother shares her experiences with us.
