Crimean children sent thousands of letters to the front in support of the soldiers
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Several thousand letters from Crimean children, schoolchildren and students were sent to fighters from our region in the Northern Military District zone as part of the project “People’s Front. Everything for victory!” along with humanitarian supplies. The soldiers sincerely thank the young Crimeans for their support, carry messages close to their hearts and read them right before combat missions.
In such a difficult time in the fight against the enemy, sincere children’s support warms our souls on the front line. The most touching ones are displayed on the walls and on the doors in the dugouts, so that anyone can read them in difficult times. Well, we still carry the most personal ones close to our hearts, after all, the most often message from children is to take care of yourself, — notes a Crimean fighter with the call sign “Kim”.
Gratitude from the smallest patriots, prayers and requests to the Guardian Angel to take care of the soldiers, give a piece of warmth even in the most difficult moments. They are actively transmitted by students of Crimean universities and colleges, schoolchildren, and pupils of the international children’s center «Artek» from all regions of the country. And every letter necessarily finds its defender on the front line.
Although the majority of letters are from children, sometimes letters are sent by both adults and our elderly Crimeans, who bring them along with humanitarian aid. From the very first days, we have had a good tradition, which we almost always manage to keep — along with each shipment of technical or construction assistance, we donate “home” support from baked goods and sweets, and, of course, letters. And every time it gives a piece of warmth to the fighterssays the head of the regional executive committee of the Popular Front in Crimea, Alla Vertinskaya.
