Holidays in January are rarely cheap. Still, the winter holidays, which many want to have fun and sometimes extend, significantly increase the price of tickets and accommodation. But you can also relax on a budget in January. You just need to know the suitable places — and these are not necessarily unknown and unpromoted places.
The Russian hotel and apartment booking service TVIL.RU has identified the most economical vacation destinations in January 2024. Among the leaders of budget holidays are the resorts of Crimea. In first place is the city of Saki, where the average price for a night’s stay is 1,684 rubles. In second place is Derbent in Dagestan, where the average price of a night is 2,112 rubles, and in third place is Pitsunda in Abkhazia, where a night on average costs 2,330 rubles,” noted the service’s press service.
