Crimean citizen will be punished for insulting and using violence against a police officer

The Crimean… basically did something… His “exploits” are not even dealt with by the police, but by the Investigative Committee. And it was like this… The duty station of the intermunicipal department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia «Krasnoperekopsky» received a message from a 39-year-old local resident that her ex-husband, while intoxicated, was trying to knock down the front door and enter her apartment.

The senior district police officer, arriving at the scene, found a drunken intruder on the landing of an apartment building. When a police officer tried to call the rowdy to order, the offender, in the presence of witnesses, publicly insulted a representative of the authorities, started a fight and tried to take possession of his service weapon. The man’s illegal actions were stopped— reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea.

The materials collected by the police were transferred to the Investigative Committee for making a procedural decision.

The police remind you that insulting and using violence against employees in the performance of official duties carries consequences, including imprisonment for a period of ten years.
