CrimeaPRESS reports:
The Pervomaisky district prosecutor’s office supported the state prosecution in a criminal case against a 33-year-old local resident. The Crimean citizen was found guilty under paragraph “h” of Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm).
The court found that in May last year, the convict, while intoxicated, during a conflict, struck the victim three times with a kitchen knife in the chest area, causing grievous harm to health— reported the prosecutor’s office.
The court, taking into account the opinion of the state prosecutor, sentenced the perpetrator to 2 years and 6 months in prison. He will serve his sentence in a maximum security penal colony. The verdict did not enter into legal force.
