A cooperation agreement has been concluded between the Council of Ministers of Crimea and the Public Joint Stock Company Sberbank of Russia. The document was signed at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) by Georgy Muradov, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea — Permanent Representative of the Republic of Crimea to the President of the Russian Federation, and Anatoly Pesennikov, Chairman of South-West Bank Sberbank.
The purpose of the agreement is long-term, effective and mutually beneficial cooperation for the further development of priority sectors of the economy and social sphere of the Republic of Crimea. The parties agreed to support small and medium-sized businesses, the implementation of investment projects to increase the gross regional product, infrastructure development programs and cooperation in the provision of state, municipal and other services to the population in electronic form.
We continue to strengthen partnerships with Sberbank. The agreement provides for a wide range of cooperation and is aimed at the comprehensive growth of the region’s economy: from the comfort of life in Crimea to supporting entrepreneurial initiatives, digitalization of state and municipal services to stimulating the growth of research and innovation activities— Georgy Muradov noted.
In turn, Anatoly Pesennikov said that since the beginning of the year, Sberbank has been actively working to expand partnerships with the Republic of Crimea in dozens of areas and directions. The key tasks are to support the investment activity of small, medium and large businesses in the region, assistance in the development of banking services and ESG initiatives, the introduction of artificial intelligence technologies, assistance in the development of digital services and solutions in all sectors of the economy.
