Crimean courts issued 211 decisions on the administrative expulsion of foreign citizens

Crimean police report on activities related to combating illegal migration in the region. As the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea emphasized, such checks and raids are carried out regularly.
In 2023, more than 200 inspection activities were carried out, during which more than 12 thousand violations of migration legislation were identified and suppressed, and 22 decisions were made on the deportation of foreign citizens from the territory of the Russian Federation. The courts of the republic have issued more than 500 decisions on the administrative expulsion of foreign citizens from the territory of the Russian Federation— said the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea.
Another figure from the 2023 statistics is 143. This is the number of crimes in Crimea related to the organization of illegal migration, fictitious registration and registration of foreign citizens.
Over 2 months of this year, more than 1,690 objects have already been inspected in Crimea, 1,146 violations of migration legislation have been identified and suppressed, and 879 persons have been brought to administrative responsibility. 30 events were carried out, during which 13 materials on facts of criminal offenses in the field of migration were registered and 1,848 administrative offenses were identified.
25 crimes were registered under Art. 322.1-322.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. 5 decisions were made on the deportation of foreign citizens, 34 decisions on reducing the period of stay of foreign citizens on the territory of the Russian Federation and 226 decisions on not allowing entry into the countrynoted the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea.
