Crimean craftsmen created unique toys for the project “New Year's Trees of Russia”

89 trees, including those of the Republic of Crimea, will be decorated in the style of regional brands to attract the attention of the residents of our country to the customs, traditions and cultural identity of the Russian regions. The idea of decorating the Crimean spruce in Kirov arose from the staff of the ministry; it will also be decorated with bouquets of lavender and magnolias, tea rose flowers, thereby representing the uniqueness of the region and its heritage.
Today, the Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of Crimea sent New Year’s decorations to Kirov, thereby we are giving a start to the republican project “New Year in Crimea at home,” initiated by the Ministry to promote the tourism potential of Crimea in the regions of Russia during the winter and holidays. Let your favorite family holiday show the unity of the big Russian family, where there is no place for strife and disputes, — notes the Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea Sergei Ganziy.
Let us remind you that from December 1, the Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of Crimea, together with the tourism industry of the republic, is launching an information campaign “New Year in Crimea at home” to popularize and promote the tourism product and recreation opportunities in Crimea, as well as inform about programs and promotions of hotels, sanatoriums and facilities excursion display of the region during the New Year and Christmas holidays.
Masters Olga Keduk, Svetlana Sergeeva, Elena Berezovskaya, Irina Deryabina, Victoria Kiviko, Ekaterina Puzko and the Gingerbread Workshop “Pani Kotya”, Natalya Ilyina, Natalya Prilepskaya, artists under the guidance of a member of the youth section of the Crimean branch of the Union of Artists of Russia, a teacher, took part in the creation of toys. Regional Center for Identification and Support of Gifted Children in the Republic of Crimea “Impulse” Tatyana Grishchenko, students of the Center Andrey Kalinin, Hanie Bekirova, Olga Domnikova, Ekaterina Konovalenko and teacher Yana Kremneva. As well as a member of the youth section of the Crimean branch of the Union of Artists of Russia Daria Akhtyamova and artist Veronica Shareiko.
Reference: With the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, in 2024 the city of Kirov received the status of “New Year’s Capital of Russia”. The main goal of the project is to instill the historical “cultural code” of Russia, especially to the younger generation — the future of our country, to contribute to the development and promotion of traditional folk arts and crafts of Russia and their integration into modern life.
