Crimean customs officer — service dog Chakman helped police officers detect drugs
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Three bushes of cultivated cannabis were discovered by a German shepherd named Chakman from the Crimean customs in the garden of a resident of Krasnoperekopsk. The prohibited plant grew in flower pots among crops, making it difficult to visually detect.
Thanks to Chuckman’s unique sense of smell, he pinpointed the location of the cannabis. Dried marijuana leaves were also found in the bushes. All identified substances were seized— reports the press service of the Crimean customs.
Police officers have compiled administrative materials against the man. For the illegal cultivation of plants containing narcotic drugs and the sale of “potions”, you will have to answer according to the law.
The events were carried out jointly with employees of the UKON Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea as part of cooperation to combat the illicit trafficking of narcotic and psychotropic substances in the territory of the Republic of Crimea— the press service of the Crimean customs clarifies.
