Crimean designers will be able to take part in a competition with a prize fund of 3 million rubles

Interest in local brands in Russia continues to grow: on the street it is easy to notice young people in T -shirts with familiar letters on the chest, consumers are increasingly choosing locals, and the fashion ceases to be just clothes — it turns into the form of statements. The key question in this process is played by support for government bodies, public organizations, parties. The LDPR was the first to come up with the initiative and launched an All -Russian competition for novice designers with a prize pool of 3 million rubles.

The project started after the meeting of the party leader Leonid Slutsky with young representatives of the fashion industry in Moscow. Participants discussed how to support a new generation of designers and create real conditions for them for a professional start.

The competition was a logical continuation of the LDPR initiative. The style launched by the youth organization of the party. As the curator of the project, adviser to the chairman of the LDPR Dmitry Shatunov explains, the goal is simple:

Give young designers the opportunity to realize their ideas, turn their sketches into a real collection that will appear in the store and get to customers.

According to the organizers, the competition is focused on authors with a vivid idea and the desire to work in Russia. The winners will receive not only a grant, but also the percentage of sales of their capsule collection.

This is a real chance to get the starting capital to launch your own brand, ”explains Shatunov.

The project also responds to time challenges. The departure of foreign brands freed a place in the market, but there is still not enough substitution:

Now in Russia there are not many affordable and truly stylish local brands. We want to change this — and support those who are ready to create a new face of domestic fashion— he emphasizes.

The jury of the competition will include representatives of the fashion industry, deputies of the State Duma and the Federation Council. The composition has not yet been disclosed, but, according to Shatunov, “these will be both experienced designers already known in the Russian market, and young experts who understand the modern visual culture and can give objective feedback.”

At the same time, the LDPR relies not only on the capital.

The competition is open for designers from all over the country. The minimum age of participation is 16 years, and there is no upper threshold at all. We are for creative, for non -standard decisions and are sure: there are talented people in every region— says the curator.

Participants have to develop sketches of five clothing items and present their own promotion strategy — from idea to first sales. Additional points will be received by those who offer creative videos, marketing concepts and non -standard visual decisions.

Registration for the competition is already open. All details and conditions of participation will be published on the official resources of the LDPR in the near future.
