Crimean ecologists at the Russia exhibition in Moscow held a master class “Grow your own tree”

Employees of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Crimea conducted a master class “Grow your own tree” at the exhibition “Russia”, which takes place at VDNKh in Moscow. Anyone, both adults and children, could try their hand at it. Each participant was given a special kit: soil, a shovel, drainage material, a glass, seeds for sowing, water and a plant observation diary.

Drainage material is poured onto the bottom of the glass, and soil is placed on top of it. Next, you need to make a small depression with a spatula and put Crimean pine seeds there. Then you need to sprinkle it with soil and compact it.,” ecologists revealed the “secrets” and gave several recommendations for caring for the plant. — At home, a glass with a seed should be placed on the windowsill and covered with film, watered periodically, carefully loosened and wait for germination.

This master class is a unique opportunity to gain experience in sowing seeds of forest crops in the ground, carry out care activities and receive a seedling for planting a tree and observing its growth. It is no coincidence that one of the main goals of the event is the formation of an ecological culture among the population.
