Crimean embankments damaged by the storm will take three years to repair

In Crimea, a third of 69 coastal protection structures damaged during the storm in November last year will be repaired. 5.1 billion rubles have been allocated from the federal budget for these purposes.
On behalf of the President of Crimea, 5.1 billion rubles were allocated for the repair of bank protection structures destroyed due to the disaster in November 2023. In general, this program lasts three years. Also, 3.2 billion rubles were allocated from the republican budget for the restoration of infrastructure and residential facilities damaged as a result of the emergency, — said the head of Crimea Sergei Aksenov on the Telegram channel.
In total, 69 objects are subject to major repairs and reconstruction, but this year 26 will be repaired with federal money. Of these, 22 are in Yalta, four more in Alushta and Nikolaevka. In addition, bank protection work has begun in Sudak. 60 million rubles have been allocated from the republican budget for these purposes. Another 7 million rubles are planned for the restoration of the coast in Kerch.
Also, 280 million rubles will be allocated from the republican budget to strengthen the road in the village of Morskoye, which belongs to the urban district of Sudak. There, repairs to the damaged section of the embankment will begin in April.
The head of Crimea, at a meeting in the republican government, emphasized the need to coordinate the time of repair and restoration work with the administrations of municipal districts, especially at night.
