Crimean Emergencies Ministry pyrotechnicians demonstrated dangerous ammunition found in Kerch

Today, pyrotechnicians from the Special Marine Detachment of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Crimea told children about safety rules when explosive objects are discovered. The event is timed to coincide with the «Day of the Fortress», which is celebrated today in Kerch.

The holiday is intended to remind the younger generation of the heroic past of the hero city and that the land still preserves the legacy of the Great Patriotic War.

The pyrotechnic department staff reminded the children that if they find an explosive object, they must report the find to adults and call 112, do not touch, carry or play with the object, move to a safe distance and do not allow random people to approach the place, do not try to defuse the explosive object on their own— the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Kalmykia reported.

This week, the SMO defused 27 explosive objects from the Great Patriotic War, one of them an aircraft projectile.
