Crimean Engineering and Pedagogical University is 30 years old

The Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergei Aksenov took part in the event dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Crimean Engineering and Pedagogical University named after Fevzi Yakubov, which was held in the university building.
At the beginning of the event, the rector of the university, Chingiz Yakubov, made a welcoming speech and thanked everyone who stood at the origins of the creation of the university and those who helped to develop it.
The university was created by an honorary citizen of the Republic of Crimea, Yakubov Fevzi Yakubovich, in difficult historical conditions. On the day of the university’s thirtieth anniversary, I would like to express my gratitude to everyone who works and studies within its walls. I thank the mentors and teachers whose work helped make the university recognizable and competitive. I would also like to thank the authorities of the Republic of Crimea for their constructive cooperation and understanding of the role of the university in the Crimean society, and the civil society of the republic for supporting our endeavors, said Chingiz Yakubov. – Let the Crimean Engineering and Pedagogical University flourish in unity with the multinational people of Crimea and our entire great country, Russia.
Sergey Aksyonov congratulated the teaching staff, students, graduate students and graduates on the 30th anniversary of the Crimean Engineering and Pedagogical University.
For the past third of a century, the university has been making a significant contribution to the formation of the personnel and intellectual potential of Crimea. KIPU is one of the leading Crimean universities, where people come to study from all regions of the country. Since 2014, the teaching staff of the university has done a lot to educate professionals and true patriots of Russia. Many KIPU graduates have become true professionals in their field, of whom we are rightfully proud. This is a great merit of the first rector Fevzi Yakubovich Yakubov. Today his work is continued by the teaching staff led by rector Chingiz Fevzievich Yakubovsaid the Head of Crimea and assured that the authorities of the republic will continue to provide full support to the university.
Sergey Aksyonov also noted that students should be proud of their university and value their time studying.
The university provides knowledge and helps to form a civic position. This is the last stage before entering adulthood. Use this time as intended. Love your parents and Motherland. Together we will overcome all difficulties,” added the Head of the Republic.
Then Sergei Aksyonov presented the Gratitude of the Head of the Republic of Crimea to the university staff.
Also, the Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea, Vladimir Konstantinov, congratulated the teachers and students. In his opinion, the university is a unique institution in many ways.
Its uniqueness lies in its history, in the person who founded it and whose name it bears today, in the continuity that has formed here, in educational traditions. KIPU occupies a worthy place among Crimean universities. More than 5.5 thousand students study there, about 500 teachers work there, and about 100 areas of training are implementedsaid the head of the Parliament of the Republic.
The Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea noted that today we live in difficult times, “however, it opens up enormous opportunities for self-realization for us, our youth«
The anniversary of the founding of the university is an occasion to take stock of the work done and formulate plans. I am convinced that the KIPU named after Fevzi Yakubov has well-deserved results and ambitious plans,” summed up Vladimir Konstantinov.
The head of the Crimean parliament wished success to the university staff, students, graduates and presented state awards to KIPU teachers.
