Crimean enterprises are expanding their export geography

Crimean enterprises are expanding the geography of exports and exhibition activities, focusing on establishing mutually beneficial trade and economic ties with the countries of the Middle East, Asia, and Africa. This was announced by the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers — Minister of Finance of the Republic of Crimea Irina Kiviko following the results of the conference of the Southern Regional Export Support Center (SRCPE).
The geography of export supplies of Crimean enterprises, thanks to the support of federal and regional authorities, is growing every year. Evidence of this is the regular presence of Crimean manufacturers at the world’s leading exhibition venues and the expansion of the product range— said Irina Kiviko.
According to her, in 2023, Crimeans took part in international events in Uzbekistan, Vietnam, Armenia, Qatar, China, and the UAE. Educational trainings were conducted for entrepreneurs of the republic who are developing, or want to develop, export areas.
In 2024, online meetings will be held with trade representatives of the Russian Federation in Belarus, Turkey, China, South Africa, and a number of other countries. Enterprises from the Republic of Crimea will take part in a number of international exhibitions, where they will present products from the agricultural, food, light, wine, perfume and cosmetics industries. Business missions to Belarus, China, and Turkey are expected. Educational courses, master classes and round tables will be held. The main event of 2024 promises to be the Fourth International Forum “Time for Export”, which will be held in the region.
As part of the SRCPE conference, First Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Republic of Crimea Roman Khitushchenko awarded the best exporting enterprises, the advantages of e-commerce were also discussed, and other issues were considered.
