Crimean farmers have completed the harvesting of early grain and leguminous crops

In Crimea, the harvesting of early grain and leguminous crops has been completed. This was announced by the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Crimea Andrey Savchuk. According to him, the Crimean farmers have harvested 100% of the area — about 590,000 hectares. More than 2 million 263 thousand tons of grain in bunker weight were harvested from them.
The average yield of crops is 38.4 centners per hectare. Thus, grain crops have been harvested on an area of more than 557,000 hectares. Nearly 2 million 200 thousand tons have been threshed with an average yield of 39.4 centners per hectare. Legumes — from an area of almost 32 thousand hectares, from which a crop of about 64 thousand tons was harvested with an average yield of 20 centners per hectare. Also threshed 100% of the area of early oilseeds such as winter and spring rapeseed. More than 20,000 tons of these crops have been harvested from an area of more than 12,000 hectares. The average yield of winter and spring rapeseed is 16.5 centners per hectare— commented the head of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Crimea.
The minister also spoke about the fact that agrarians are now busy harvesting late grain crops in the fields. 3.7 thousand hectares have already been threshed, which is more than half of the area -51%.
