Crimean Federal University has graduated more than 6 thousand students this year
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The Crimean Federal University named after V. I. Vernadsky held a ceremonial presentation of diplomas to graduates of all structural divisions and branches. In total, 6,797 students graduated from the university in higher and secondary vocational education programs this year. This was reported by the acting rector of the KFU named after V. I. Vernadsky Vladimir Kuryanov.
As the head of the university notes, 2,627 people completed the bachelor’s degree program in full-time, part-time, and part-time forms of study. 924 people completed the specialist program, and 716 people completed the master’s program. In secondary vocational education, 1,607 people graduated, of whom 1,367 were full-time students. A total of 61 graduates completed postgraduate studies in both forms of study.
We always speak well of our graduates, even those who were not very diligent in fulfilling their student duties or skipped classes. For us, all students become close and dear during their studies. Every year, at the graduation ceremony, we sincerely tell the students that their class is one of the best. In my opinion, it is incorrect to compare current and previous graduates. It is important to remember that we are always all together — both teachers and students— the university press service quotes Vladimir Kuryanov.
About 5,000 students received higher education diplomas, and more than 1,500 received secondary vocational education diplomas. This year, 1,003 university graduates graduated with honors.
Today, people who know everything can be counted on the fingers of one hand. The gigantic amount of information that exists even in a single specialty is incredibly difficult to master. Only a very limited number of people with truly outstanding abilities are capable of this, – notes the acting rector of the Crimean Federal University.
According to him, one of the main tasks of the university is to create comfortable conditions during the period of study for the comprehensive development of students and the formation of the necessary personal and professional qualities.
We know that these guys will find their place in life and will worthily bear the title of graduate of the Crimean Federal University. They studied here, they were formed here, they spent the best years of their young lives here. This is a very good and worthy graduation. I hope that in their thoughts they will often return to their student years, remember their native university and the teachers who gave them an education and prepared them for an independent life, – says Vladimir Kuryanov.
Currently, the Crimean Federal University is one of the largest and leading universities in Russia. The educational institution includes 23 separate structural divisions and 12 branches. The university has a unique platform for training professional personnel who meet the high requirements of domestic and international standards.
