Crimean Federal University opened new areas of training

New educational programs in the field of biotechnology and rehabilitation have been licensed at the Crimean Federal University.
The choice of new specialties and areas of training is based on a comprehensive analysis of the labor market. It takes into account the priority areas for the development of the region, the scientific and technological capabilities of structural units and branches of higher and secondary vocational education. Starting from the new academic year, the Crimean Federal University will start teaching students under the specialty program — «Medical Biochemistry» — and the residency program — «Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine». The latter is aimed at training personnel with professional competencies, taking into account the complex application of the unique rehabilitation factors of the Crimean region. Graduates will be in demand in health resort institutions. Training using high-tech, innovative rehabilitation equipment will be conducted by leading experts in the field of medical rehabilitation, candidates and doctors of medical sciences, and practitioners.
According to the vice-rector, special priority is given to areas of training in the field of pedagogy and education, architecture, and chemical technologies. Each of the new specialties already at the stage of planning and preparing documents received the support of relevant ministries, departments and leading enterprises in the region, which guarantees students of new specialties places for practical training and further employment.
